Using colored pencil in all her art, Barbara had a unique talent that allowed her to recreate the rich colors of the earth and bright colors of the world around us. Creating over 120 drawings Barbara has left us with expressive works of art that we hope others will connect with.

At the young age of 54, Barbara was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor. Faced with many struggles, Barbara used art as an outlet to cope and her artistic talents began to flourish. Even after she lost the use of her right arm, she quickly learned to draw with her left hand. She continued to draw and create stunning artwork until her death on October 29, 2017. Her beautiful hand drawn artwork remains with us today.
